Abstract
L’article essaie de réévaluer la place de la violence dans les relations humaines. Suite aux travaux de René Girard, il s’agit de situer celle-ci dans le processus de fondation sociale. Une telle redistribution du rôle imparti à la violence implique de ne plus confondre le rapport de forces et l’origine des relations. Elle demande de n’escamoter aucun des deux éléments de la réalité – la force et la règle – non seulement pour découvrir leur jeu dans les pratiques mais aussi pour restituer aux relations toutes leurs complexités
