Abstract

István Kultsár (1760-1828), the teacher, theatre director, enthusiastic organiser of the Hungarian language and literature estabilished in 1806 a Hungarian lingual newspaper what was continued in 1817 by an other print. In this very multiple newspaper he presented many kind of intruments form Hungary, Europe and from over the world. After analysing the texts the author appointed that the different descriptions makes a contemporary special attention after the music as well as and cover an authentic writing down of folk and art musical-instruments. The selected material provides a good insight into how the newspaper of Kultsár intended to establish a general civilisation in Hungarian language in Hungary under the Habsburg house during the first decades of 19 century
