Abstract

Les Panathénées, la « fête de tous les Athéniens », est de toutes les festivités de la Grèce antique la plus richement documentée. Les sources montrent que la fête était une représentation vivante de la ville. Elle avait lieu tous les étés : tous les quatre ans se tenaient les Grandes Panathénées, et les autres années, les Petites Panathénées.
