Abstract

Any researcher of philosophy who wants to complete the map of a hypothetical “Anatomy of Thinking” would not feel satisfied only with the detailed study of the discursive elements that we use as the basis of thought. It is also essential to know how the reception and interpretation of philosophical ideas that have traveled within written works have been intertwined throughout history and, in some exceptional cases, in the evanescent presence of orality, always collected by others. In this work I analyze how philosophical works have been interpreted throughout history, or, what is the same, how the history of philosophy has been constructed from the reader’s perspective.
