China's eco-historian Line in the conceptual framework and research

Abstract |
China's eco-history based on the intersection of multiple disciplines, the human society and ecological environment as a wide range of contact, interaction, feedback to each other, co-evolution of the whole, the use of ecology of the theory and methods of treatment historical data, observation and interpretation of historical phenomena historical movement, dedicated to exploring the social and cultural history of China and the interaction between environment and processes of social history with each other through mutual contemplation, the formation of eco-social history and the history of social ecology Line in two different research focus, the former focuses on the role of human activity under study ecological changes, while the latter focuses on the ecological environment in and under the influence of social and cultural evolution, and ultimately move toward mastery. Located at an intersection among multi-disciplines, China's ecological historiography takes human society and its ecological environment as a whole in which they are extensively related, interacted and mutual evolved. With theoretical and methodological insights from ecology as well as its divisions, China's ecological historiography seeks to illustrate the interactive processes between social culture and ecological environment in Chinese history, the process mirrors each other with social history studies hence produces two research lines: that of ecological social history and of social ecological history. While the former centers on the natural ecological evolution, the latter pay more attention to the social cultural development with the participation and influence of ecological environment
