У статті здійснений аналіз подій, які відбувалися в Україні на межі 2013–2014 рр. і які отримали назву Революції Гідності. Автори доводять, що ця революція стала об’єднуючим чинником українських церков та релігійних організацій, своєрідним виявом християнського екуменізму та міжрелігійного порозуміння, які солідарно виступили проти злочинної влади, за свободу і незалежність України, за гідність кожного українця.

Особистість як соціальна якість людини є предметом соціальних наук: філософії, соціології, психології та ін. Соціологія досліджує особистість як суб'єкт соціальних відносин, виділяючи в ній соціально-типові характеристики, які розвиваються під впливом соціальних інститутів, а також шляхи та канали зворотного впливу особистості на соціальний світ. Отже, специфіка соціологічного підходу до вивчення особистості полягає в тому, що він аналізує її суто соціальні характеристики.

The purpose of the article is to determine and understand the conditions of the anthropological project development by Descartes. It implies the necessity to conceive its entrenched forms in scientific revolution, which leads to a) a human as an embodiment of some abstract mind, b) its transcendence, as well as the possibility to penetrate into a human nature in the course of ethics development. Originality. According to the author, the anthropological interpretation of Descartes is not profound, since a human is (...) taken as embodiment of abstract mind, and ethics is a set of some simple rules. The impact of scientific revolution, which was not well perceived, leads to the domination of a restricted understanding of a human in research literature. The author insists on taking into account the fact that Descartes was beyond epistemology due to the topical issue concerning a proper mode of life. Conclusions. The incomprehensive interpretation of the attitude of Descartes to scientific revolution causes restricted understanding a human nature as abstract mind embodiment and ethics as a set of simple rules. Thorough analysis of the thinker's texts proves his profound interpretation of scientific revolution impact and integrated vision of a human nature, as well as significant development of ethical issues. Purpose. The purpose of the investigation is to outline the main points of Hume’s interpretation of the basic anthropological project of the era based on radical cultural transformations of the early modern age; to represent a modern vision of Hume's anthropology as a response to the demand of the era and necessity to complete its basic project. Methodology. The research was based on phenomenological and hermeneutic approaches. Originality. Contemporary understanding of the position of anthropological project in Hume's philosophy is regarded (...) as unsatisfactory by the author. Development of the basic project as anthropological is rooted in scientific revolution and needs to be continued and completed. Contemporary prevalence of deanthropogical versions of Hume's philosophy is the result of underestimated significance of the concept of nature in the broad sense. According to the philosopher's texts, heuristic potential of Hume's position is emphasized by the author. The modern version of the basic project in the early modern age is criticized and demands significant changes to become anthropological. Findings. Modern perception of Hume’s philosophy as an anthropological project is unsatisfactory in terms of historical and philosophical science and needs detailed analysis. In order to understand the conditions of anthropological project significance, it is advisable to focus on: a) scientific revolution and the necessity to complete it; b) determine the role of the concept of nature in its broad sense. Nowadays the way of Hume's rethinking of the basic project of modern philosophy as insufficiently anthropological is quite heuristic. Empiricism, dogmatism, superstition and skepticism are the manifestations of the latter. For Hume, the era was as an incomplete anthropological project and its legacy as the most complete form of explication. Today the interest in the phenomenon of a human provides a reasonable basis to define that modern period is related to the era of Hume, and therefore, to give some reasoning for his remarkable ideas as New Hume's era. The main point for criticizing the Cartesians for Vico is the notion of method, interpreted as exceptionally discursive procedure, devoid of spontaneity and creative force which are necessary for discovering new truths. These qualities are embodied for Vico in the Latin term ingenium, loan translation of which is found in Italian (ingegno) and is absent in French. The criticism of Cartesianisn suggested by Vico does not consider the fundamental bilingualism of this philosophy and wide use of the term ingenium in (...) the corps of Descartes’ Latin works. The analysis of the latter proves that the early Descartes’ notion intuitus mentis, as well as the concept of natural light of mind are, in the end, based exactly on ingenium, but not on the discursive methodical procedures. Human soul, following Descartes, reveals its content in several hypostastes and each method of revelation corresponds to specific terminology. Soul as mens is not the same as soul as ingenium. But even the early Descartes’ study of soul is marked by peculiar nominalism, proclamation of the real existence of individual soul as a separate entity. Therefore later, stating his ego cogito, Descartes states exactly the individual substance, not thinking in general. The terminological couple ingenium/mens is not translatable already in the French texts of Descartes himself (both merge in the French esprit), however their Ukrainian translations do not consider neither this untranslatability nor obvious references of Descartes’ esprit to other Latin compliances which differ each time. The article also analyses frequency in usage of the terms ingenium and mens in early and late Descartes’ Latin works; it has been proved that the augmentation of the meaning of metaphysical problems gradually turned mens into the main subject of Descartes’ research and deactualised the problem of ingenium. In this book, Ben-Yami reassesses the way Descartes developed and justified some of his revolutionary philosophical ideas. The first part of the book shows that one of Descartes' most innovative and influential ideas was that of representation without resemblance. Ben-Yami shows how Descartes transfers insights originating in his work on analytic geometry to his theory of perception. The second part shows how Descartes was influenced by the technology of the period, notably clockwork automata, in holding life to be a mechanical (...) phenomenon, reducing the soul to the mind and considering it immaterial. Ben-Yami explores the later role of the digital computer in Turing's criticism of Descartes' ideas. The last part discusses the Meditations: far from starting everything afresh without presupposing anything that can be doubted, Descartes' innovations in the dream argument, the cogito and elsewhere are modifications of old ideas based upon considerations issuing from his separately developed theories, formed under the influence of the technology, mathematics and science of his age.
