Research on Dynamic Game Model and Application of Chinas Imported Soybean Price in the Context of China-US Economic and Trade Friction.Yi Wang, Hui Wang & Shubing Guo - 2019 - Complexity 2019:1-13.
Chinas soybean price fluctuates due to the current economic and trade frictions between China and the United States. Brazil and the United States are regarded as (...)two oligarchs in Chinas soybean import market. A dynamic price game model is established, and price elasticity parameters are estimated by using statistical data and Rotterdam model. The stability of Nash equilibrium point is discussed through bifurcation diagram, maximum Lyapunov exponent, evolutionary trajectory, and time series diagram. The influence of price adjustment speed on equilibrium price is analyzed. The numerical simulation of price adjustment speed is carried out, which is compared with the actual situation of imported soybean price before and after the trade friction. The results show that the model constructed in this paper can reflect the changing trend of price and demand and predict the short-term import soybean prices of Brazil and the United States. The forecast accuracy of price fluctuation is high. The results provide model and theoretical reference for price game under trade disputes and provide methodological reference for forecasting the price of imported goods. (shrink)

This paper considers a CournotBertrand game model based on the relative profit maximization with bounded rational players. The existence and stability of the Nash equilibrium of (...)the dynamic model are investigated. The influence of product differentiation degree and the adjustment speed on the stability of the dynamic system is discussed. Furthermore, some complex properties and global stability of the dynamic system are explored. The results find that the higher degree of product differentiation enlarges the stable range of the dynamic system, while the higher unit product cost decreases the stable range of price adjustment and increases the one of output adjustment; period cycles and aperiodic oscillation occur via period-doubling or NeimarkSacker bifurcation, and the attraction domain shrinks with the increase of adjustment speed values. By selecting appropriate control parameters, the chaotic system can return to the stable state. The research of this paper is of great significance to the decision-makersprice decision and quantity decision. (shrink)

The Facies Analysis of a Fan Delta by Integrating Multiple Discipline DataA Case Study of the KL-A Oilfield, Bohai Bay Basin, China.Zhijun Yin, Bo Zhang, Yue Hu, Jianmin Zhu, Cheng Guo, Guolong Chen, Xianbo Hou, Jianwei Liu & Rongdong Zhang - 2020 - Interpretation 8 (2):SF21-SF35.
The third member of the Shahejie Formation is the main hydrocarbon exploration target in the KL-A oilfield, Bohai Bay Basin, East China. The facies classification is (...)an essential step in mapping the depositional system of Es3 within the Bohai Bay Basin. The facies model is important for identifying thesweetlithology within the reservoirs. We characterize the facies of Es3 by integrating cores, well logs, and seismic data. The analysis indicates that the Es3 consists of fan delta deposits. The analysis using well logs and cores indicates that there are five different lithofacies for the Es3 Formation: massive sandstone, horizontally bedded sandstone, trough cross-bedded sandstone, ripple cross-laminated sandstone, and massive mud. The microfacies of Es3 include distributary channel, distributary mouth bar, interdistributary bay, and lacustrine mudstone deposits. The sweet lithologies for hydrocarbon accumulation within the KL-A oilfield include the coarse- and fine-grained sand developed within the channels and distributary mouth bar. We use seismic rms amplitude strata slices to determine the horizontal distribution of facies of the fan delta. The correlation between rms amplitude and well logs indicates that relatively low rms amplitude anomalies on the strata slices can be used as an indicator for sandstone within the KL-A oilfield. 16. Dynamic Optimal Control of Transboundary Pollution Abatement Under Learning-by-Doing Depreciation.Zhigang Chen, Rongwei Xu & Yongxi Yi - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-17.
This paper analyzes a dynamic Stackelberg differential game model of watershed transboundary water pollution abatement and discusses the optimal decision-making problem under non-cooperative and cooperative differential (...) game, in which the accumulation effect and depreciation effect of learning-by-doing pollution abatement investment are taken into account. We use dynamic optimization theory to solve the equilibrium solution of models. Through numerical simulation analysis, the path simulation and analysis of the optimal trajectory curves of each variable under finite-planning horizon and long-term steady state were carried out. Under the finite-planning horizon, the longer the planning period is, the lower the optimal emission rate is in equilibrium. The long-term steady-state game under cooperative decision can effectively reduce the amount of pollution emission. The investment intensity of pollution abatement in the implementation of non-cooperative game is higher than that of cooperative game. Under the long-term steady state, the pollution abatement investment trajectory of the cooperative game is relatively stable and there is no obvious crowding out effect. Investment continues to rise, and the optimal equilibrium level at steady state is higher than that under non-cooperative decision making. The level of decline in pollution stock under finite-planning horizon is not significant. Under the condition of long-term steady state, the trajectories of upstream and downstream pollution in the non-cooperative model and cooperative model are similar, but cooperative decision-making model is superior to the non-cooperative model in terms of the period of stabilization and steady state. Adaptive Hybrid Soft-Sensor Model of Grinding Process Based on Regularized Extreme Learning Machine and Least Squares Support Vector Machine Optimized by Golden Sine Harris Hawk Optimization Algorithm.Wei Xie, Jie-Sheng Wang, Cheng Xing, Sha-Sha Guo, Meng-wei Guo & Ling-Feng Zhu - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-26.
Soft-sensor technology plays a vital role in tracking and monitoring the key production indicators of the grinding and classifying process. Least squares support vector machine, as (...)a soft-sensor model with strong generalization ability, can be used to predict key production indicators in complex grinding processes. The traditional crossvalidation method cannot obtain the ideal structure parameters of LSSVM. In order to improve the prediction accuracy of LSSVM, a golden sine Harris Hawk optimization algorithm was proposed to optimize the structure parameters of LSSVM models with linear kernel, sigmoid kernel, polynomial kernel, and radial basis kernel, and the influences of GSHHO algorithm on the prediction accuracy under these LSSVM models were studied. In order to deal with the problem that the prediction accuracy of the model decreases due to changes of industrial status, this paper adopts moving window strategy to adaptively revise the LSSVM, which greatly improves the prediction accuracy of the LSSVM. The prediction accuracy of the regularized extreme learning machine with MW strategy is higher than that of MW-LSSVM at some moments. Based on the training errors of LSSVM and RELM within the window, this paper proposes an adaptive hybrid soft-sensing model that switches between LSSVM and RELM. Compared with the previous MW-LSSVM, MW-neural network trained with extended Kalman filter, and MW-RELM, the prediction accuracy of the hybrid model is further improved. Simulation results show that the proposed hybrid adaptive soft-sensor model has good generalization ability and prediction accuracy. (shrink)

Evolution of the Complex Partnerships Between Banks and B2B E-Trading Platforms: A Theoretical Interpretation From the Chinese Market.Jinzhao Shi, Ju’E. Guo, Qiang Du, Libiao Bai, Yi Li, Wenjun Yan & Kin Keung Lai - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-14.
Based on the principal-agent theory, we give a theoretical interpretation on evolution of the complex partnerships between the online SCF providers in China. First, we describe (...)the principal-agent relationships and analyze the optimal profit-sharing contracts between the banks and the B2B platforms. Then, from a dual perspective of leadership transfer and absolute benefit change, we explain the behavioral choices of the banks in the cooperation. Results show that, at the initial stage of growth of the platformsabilities to rate online borrowers, the leadership and the absolute benefit of the banks will suffer adouble decline,” which explains why the leading banks in Chinadivorcedthe B2B platforms during 2011 to 2013. However, as the platformsrating abilities grow tomaturity,” the absolute benefit of the banks will finally exceed its original level, and then the rational banks would cooperate with the platforms again even at the expense of losing a portion of their leadership, which answers why the banks in China have come back toremarrythe B2B platforms since 2014. In this paper, a heterogeneous diffusive prey-predator system is first proposed and then studied analytically and numerically. Some sufficient conditions are derived, including permanence and extinction (...)of system and the boundedness of the solution. The existence of periodic solution and its stability are discussed as well.
