In lieu of an abstract, here is a brief excerpt of the content:James K. Mish'alani KAFKA: TEXT'S BODY, BODY'S TEXT LONG BEFORE it appears in its own life as a bio-anatomical object, the body itself is integrally lived; and after it makes its appearance, lying or standing there ready for scrutiny, dissection, examination, it yields itself thus in its objectivity only to kindred bodily probing, wherein the hands that search, press, palpate and die roving eyes, the patient, closeheld ear, (...)

A tale of tails: insights into the coordination of 3′ end processing during homologous recombination.Amy M. Lyndaker & Eric Alani - 2009 - Bioessays 31 (3):315-321.
Eukaryotic genomes harbor a large number of homologous repeat sequences that are capable of recombining. Their potential to disrupt genome stability highlights the need to understand how homologous recombination processes are coordinated. The Saccharomyces cerevisiae Rad1–Rad10 endonuclease performs an essential role in recombination between repeated sequences, by processing 3′ single‐stranded intermediates formed during single‐strand annealing and gene conversion events. Several recent studies have focused on factors involved in Rad1–Rad10‐dependent removal of 3′ nonhomologous tails during homologous recombination, including Msh2–Msh3, Slx4, and (...)

    Genomic mutation rates: what high‐throughput methods can tell us.Koodali T. Nishant, Nadia D. Singh & Eric Alani - 2009 - Bioessays 31 (9):912-920.
High‐throughput DNA analyses are increasingly being used to detect rare mutations in moderately sized genomes. These methods have yielded genome mutation rates that are markedly higher than those obtained using pre‐genomic strategies. Recent work in a variety of organisms has shown that mutation rate is strongly affected by sequence context and genome position. These observations suggest that high‐throughput DNA analyses will ultimately allow researchers to identify trans‐acting factors and cis sequences that underlie mutation rate variation. Such work should provide insights (...)

Some Concepts Related to Education in Hārith al-Muhāsibī.Ahmet Beken - 2022 - Atebe 7:37-59.
Education is a phenomenon that has existed from the early times of human beings, but it has recently become a scientific discipline. Until recently, there were no separate fields such as education, religious education, moral and value education. Therefore, their separation from each other as scientific disciplines is also a new phenomenon. In fact, in the historical process, education has a religious and moral character in itself, and these two have not seen independent from each other. Here religion has provided (...)
