    I argue that we can profitably understanding Feyerabend’s work in at least the latter half of his career in terms of a series of experiments with ways of conceptualising and criticising scientism, under the aegis of a ‘critique of scientific reason’. The differences arise from fundamental differences between scientific and technological knowledge and basic disanalogies between technological advance and scientific progress.
