This paper focuses on the action of the intellect. Polo differs from Hegel in the interpretation of this action and in the subsequent role of the intelligible. 7.
Polo’s theory on negation and the hypothetical intentionality of second determinations. These are usually understood as facticities. Moreover, such a theory can explain the internal relationship between facta and wide-ranging ideas. The formulation of this theory has to argue against a number of idealistic and nominalistic apories above the quantification in modal contexts and the clarity of concepts.

This paper focuses on some problems of the modern subjectivity, and the question of personal identity. It tries to reach a definition of person that could give up both social atomism and individualism. In doing so, it explires Polo’s distinction between life and the one who lives.
