Echoes of Corporate Social Responsibility: How and When Does CSR Influence Employees’ Promotive and Prohibitive Voices?Juan Wang, Zhe Zhang & Ming Jia - 2020 - Journal of Business Ethics 167 (2):253-269.
In this study, we examine whether, how, and when corporate social responsibility increases promotive and prohibitive voices in accordance with ethical climate theory and multi-experience model of ethical climate. Data from 382 employees at two time points are examined. Results show that CSR is positively related to promotive and prohibitive voices. Other-focused and self-focused climates mediate the relationship between CSR and the two types of voice. Moreover, humble leadership moderates the positive relationship between CSR and other-focused climate. Such leadership moderates (...)

Spatiotemporal Changes and Simulation of the Architectural Ethnicity at World Heritage Sites Under Tourism Development.Xi Yang, Cong Peng, Xueling Jiang, Juan Wang & Jun Liu - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-15.
This study was the first to integrate the quantitative analysis and simulation of spatiotemporal processes into research on the ethnicity of tourist destinations. Selecting the world heritage site of Jiuzhaigou in China as a case study, we employed remote sensing images and field observation to obtain the spatial distribution data of the site’s architectural ethnicity of 2005 and 2015. Logistic regression analysis was used to determine the mechanism driving changes in architectural ethnicity. Then, we proposed a Logistic-CA-Markov coupling model to (...)

Multilevel Examination of How and When Socially Responsible Human Resource Management Improves the Well-Being of Employees.Zhe Zhang, Juan Wang & Ming Jia - 2022 - Journal of Business Ethics 176 (1):55-71.
Although empirical evidence has shown that socially responsible human resource management practices positively influence employees’ outcomes, knowledge on the social impact of SRHRM practices on employee well-being has been limited. Drawing upon the social information processing theory and attribution theory, we investigate whether, how, and when SRHRM practices increase the well-being of employees. Using multiphase and multilevel data from 474 employees in 50 companies, we find that SRHRM practices positively predict employee well-being and that the relationship is mediated by employees’ (...)

Differentially Expressed Genes Extracted by the Tensor Robust Principal Component Analysis (TRPCA) Method.Yue Hu, Jin-Xing Liu, Ying-Lian Gao, Sheng-Jun Li & Juan Wang - 2019 - Complexity 2019:1-13.
In the big data era, sequencing technology has produced a large number of biological sequencing data. Different views of the cancer genome data provide sufficient complementary information to explore genetic activity. The identification of differentially expressed genes from multiview cancer gene data is of great importance in cancer diagnosis and treatment. In this paper, we propose a novel method for identifying differentially expressed genes based on tensor robust principal component analysis, which extends the matrix method to the processing of multiway (...)

Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence, Self-Acceptance, and Positive Coping Styles Among Chinese Psychiatric Nurses in Shandong.Qinghua Lu, Bin Wang, Rui Zhang, Juan Wang, Feifei Sun & Guiyuan Zou - 2022 - Frontiers in Psychology 13.
BackgroundNurses are facing increasing pressure due to the progressing of society, broadening of nursing service connotation, and increasing of the masses’ demand for medical treatment. Psychiatric nurses face suicides, violence, and lost along with other accidents involving patients with mental disorders under higher psychological pressure. A coping style, which is affected by individual emotions and cognition, is an essential psychological resource that allows individuals to regulate stress. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation between self-acceptance and the (...)

Bifurcation Control of a Delayed Fractional Mosaic Disease Model for Jatropha Curcas with Farming Awareness.Shouzong Liu, Mingzhan Huang & Juan Wang - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-16.
In this paper, the bifurcation control of a fractional-order mosaic virus infection model for Jatropha curcas with farming awareness and an execution delay is investigated. By analyzing the associated characteristic equation, Hopf bifurcation induced by the execution delay is studied for the uncontrolled system. Then, a time-delayed controller is introduced to control the occurrence of Hopf bifurcation. Our study implies that bifurcation dynamics is significantly affected by the change of the fractional order, the feedback gain and the extended feedback delay (...)

Joint Nonnegative Matrix Factorization Based on Sparse and Graph Laplacian Regularization for Clustering and Co-Differential Expression Genes Analysis.Ling-Yun Dai, Rong Zhu & Juan Wang - 2020 - Complexity 2020:1-10.
The explosion of multiomics data poses new challenges to existing data mining methods. Joint analysis of multiomics data can make the best of the complementary information that is provided by different types of data. Therefore, they can more accurately explore the biological mechanism of diseases. In this article, two forms of joint nonnegative matrix factorization based on the sparse and graph Laplacian regularization method are proposed. In the method, the graph regularization constraint can preserve the local geometric structure of data. (...)
