The Essence of Dissidence.Aviezer Tucker, Marian Kiss, Sarka Mokra, Ondrej Stefek & Martina Vyrkova - 2001 - Graduate Faculty Philosophy Journal 22 (2):59-78.
This article offers a philosophic understanding of dissidence. We present a conceptual analysis of dissidence as connected to a net of other philosophic concepts such as ‘virtue’ and ‘truth’. ‘Dissidence’, like ‘right’ and ‘liberty’, is used both in precise philosophic discourse and with greater variations of meaning in ordinary language. Our discussion springs from a philosophic discourse of dissidence that flourished in Czechoslovakia in the seventies and eighties, during the ‘normalization’ period between the Soviet invasion of 1968 and the Velvet (...)

Indestructibility of the Tree Property.Radek Honzik & Šárka Stejskalová - 2020 - Journal of Symbolic Logic 85 (1):467-485.
    In the first part of the article, we show that if $\omega \le \kappa < \lambda$ are cardinals, ${\kappa ^{ < \kappa }} = \kappa$, and λ is weakly compact, then in $V\left[M {\left} \right]$ the tree property at $$\lambda = \left^{V\left[ {\left} \right]} $$ is indestructible under all ${\kappa ^ + }$-cc forcing notions which live in $V\left[ {{\rm{Add}}\left} \right]$, where ${\rm{Add}}\left$ is the Cohen forcing for adding λ-many subsets of κ and $\left$ is the standard Mitchell forcing for (...)

Influence of the Cult Buildings of Simferopol on the City's Toponymic.V. Ye Polyakov - 2000 - Ukrainian Religious Studies 16:72-81.
In Simferopol, the names of the streets appeared rather late. In 1837 the Tavrian governor was given an order on the name of the city streets and lanes. Here is their complete list: Gubernatorskaya, Aleksandrovskaya, Novosobornaya, Moscow, Nevoryanskaya, Malobazarna, Mokra, Bazarna, Trading, Jewish, Greek, Petropavlovskaya, Hospital, Tatar, Gypsy, Banny, Meat, Prison, Armsky, Nagorny. Already in this very first list of streets, our attention is attracted to the horns, in the names of which in one form or another have a (...)
