Two-Parameter Prestack Seismic Inversion of Porosity and Pore-Structure Parameter of Fractured Carbonate Reservoirs: Part 2 — Applications.Tingting Zhang, Ruifeng Zhang, Jianzhang Tian, Lifei Lu, Fengqi Qin, Xianzeng Zhao & Yuefeng Sun - 2018 - Interpretation: SEG 6 (4):SM9-SM17.
Fractures and fracture-related dissolution pores, as well as cavities, molds, and vugs, provide the major conduit and/or storage space for hydrocarbons in the deeply buried carbonate hill of Hexiwu field, Bohai Bay Basin. The fractured reservoir generally has lower porosity but better permeability than moldic/vuggy reservoir, and it consists of the major part of the buried-hill slope and buried-hill internal reservoirs. The conventional method of characterizing carbonate reservoirs, however, often mixes these two types of reservoirs together because they both have (...)

Two-Parameter Prestack Seismic Inversion of Porosity and Pore Structure Parameter of Fractured Carbonate Reservoirs: Part 1 — Methods.Tingting Zhang & Yuefeng Sun - 2018 - Interpretation: SEG 6 (4):SM1-SM8.
Fractured zones in deeply buried carbonate hills are important because they often have better permeability resulting in prolific production than similar low-porosity rocks. Nevertheless, their detection poses great challenge to conventional seismic inversion methods because they are mostly low in acoustic impedance and bulk modulus, hardly distinguishable from high-porosity zones or mudstones. A proxy parameter of pore structure defined in a rock-physics model, the so-called Sun model, has been used for delineating fractured zones in which the pore structure parameter is (...)

A Proof of Topological Completeness for S4 In.Grigori Mints & Ting Zhang - 2005 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 133 (1-3):231-245.
The completeness of the modal logic S4 for all topological spaces as well as for the real line , the n-dimensional Euclidean space and the segment etc. was proved by McKinsey and Tarski in 1944. Several simplified proofs contain gaps. A new proof presented here combines the ideas published later by G. Mints and M. Aiello, J. van Benthem, G. Bezhanishvili with a further simplification. The proof strategy is to embed a finite rooted Kripke structure for S4 into a subspace (...)

The Integrity of Financial Analysts: Evidence From Asymmetric Responses to Earnings Surprises.Rui Lu, Wenxuan Hou, Henry Oppenheimer & Ting Zhang - 2018 - Journal of Business Ethics 151 (3):761-783.
This paper investigates the integrity of financial analysts by examining their recommendation responses to large quarterly earnings surprises. Although there is no significant difference in recommendation changes between affiliated and unaffiliated analysts in response to positive earnings surprises, affiliated analysts are more reluctant than unaffiliated analysts to downgrade stock recommendations in response to negative earnings surprises. The evidence implies that conflicts of interest undermine the integrity of financial analysts. We further examine the effects of reputation concern and the Global Research (...)

Research on the Influence of Media Internalized Pressure on College Students’ Sports Participation—Chained Intermediary Analysis of Social Physique Anxiety and Weight Control Self-Efficacy.Yiyi Ouyang, Jiong Luo, Jinsheng Teng, Tingran Zhang, Kun Wang & Jing Li - 2021 - Frontiers in Psychology 12.
Purpose: Discuss the relationship among college students’ media internalized pressure, social physique anxiety, weight control self-efficacy, and sports participation in providing a reference for promoting college students to develop healthy and confident living habits. Methods: Take Southwest University in China as the object, select the subjects by stratified random sampling, and process the data with SPSS19.0 and AMOS21.0 statistical software. Results: Media internalized pressure is positively correlated with social physique anxiety, weight control self-efficacy, and sports participation; social physique anxiety is significantly positively (...)

When Does Corporate Social Responsibility Backfire in Acquisitions? Signal Incongruence and Acquirer Returns.Tingting Zhang, Zhengyi Zhang & Jingyu Yang - 2020 - Journal of Business Ethics 175 (1):45-58.
This study examines whether an acquirer’s pre-announcement corporate social responsibility engagement can provide an insurance-like effect to preserve acquirer returns during the announcement of an acquisition event. Drawing on stakeholder theory and signaling theory, we posit that CSR engagement accrues positive moral capital for an acquirer and sends a positive signal indicating the acquirer’s altruism, both of which temper stakeholders’ negative responses and prevent a reduction in market returns around the announcement of an acquisition. However, high-CSR engagement could backfire when (...)

Impact of Group Art Therapy Using Traditional Chinese Materials on Self-Efficacy and Social Function for Individuals Diagnosed With Schizophrenia.Jie Tong, Wei Yu, Xiwang Fan, Xirong Sun, Jie Zhang, Jiechun Zhang & Tingting Zhang - 2021 - Frontiers in Psychology 11.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of group art therapy using traditional Chinese materials on improving the self-efficacy and social function of individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. In China, little research has been conducted on patients to measure the effectiveness of group art therapy, especially using traditional Chinese materials. To address this research gap, 104 individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia were tested in a group art therapy program that included 30 treatment sessions and used a wide variety of (...)

Construction and Analysis of Emotion Computing Model Based on LSTM.Huiping Jiang, Rui Jiao, Zequn Wang, Ting Zhang & Licheng Wu - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-12.
The electroencephalogram is the most common method used to study emotions and capture electrical brain activity changes. Long short-term memory processes the temporal characteristics of data and is mostly used for emotional text and speech recognition. Since an EEG involves a time series signal, this article mainly studied the introduction of LSTM for emotional EEG recognition. First, an ALL-LSTM model with a four-layered LSTM network was established in which the average accuracy rate for emotional classification reached 86.48%. Second, four EEG (...)

Development of a Complex Network-Based Integrated Multilayer Urban Growth and Optimisation Model for an Efficient Urban Traffic Network.Rui Ding, Yilin Zhang, Ting Zhang & Can Ma - 2021 - Complexity 2021:1-16.
Previous research studies of traffic networks are mainly based on planar networks and less considered the influence of multilayer networks, which illustrate and represent different appropriate urban traffic modes. Development of rail and road networks is inseparable from the development of a prosperous urban area; thus, research on multilayer networks has scientific potential and fulfils a real need. In this paper, a framework of complex network based integrated multilayer urban growth and optimisation model is proposed, to analyse the complex relationships (...)
