John Magney has a professional degree in engineering and a Ph. D. in sociology. He is a Professor in the Advanced Technical Studies Program at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and has been active for many years in the food/grocery co-op movement.

Albert Henderson is the former Editor of Publishing Research Quarterly, 1994–2000 adn wrote “Undermining Peer Review” for the January/February 2001 issue of Society. He comments often on library/publisher relations.
