Post-revolutionary religious consciousness of ukrainian society: melange effect for waiting bifurcation

The article analyzes the existing dynamics of religious consciousness of Ukrainian society through the prism of its main markers ­ value configurations. So, the author proves that the uniqueness of Ukrainian «revolutionary» configuration value sphere is that the basis of updated during the Revolution of Advantages values of autonomy, Risk and Novelty remains tradition, which is mainly based on the following values of the traditional worldview, i.e significant role of the church and personal faith. There is a fundamental difference between «revolutionary» configuration of Maidan’s values and identical samples of Western European countries, in which is oriented a modern Ukrainian society, and where tradition is increasingly losing its importance and religious ideology replaces on the civic responsibility, environmental awareness, social activity. To understand and explain different trends in religious consciousness and its value, the author uses the concept of cultural traditions and defends the position that the claimed concept may appear an adequate tool of sociocultural analysis of value configurations and their dynamics, particularly in terms of domestic post­revolutionary cultural realities.
