Towards a New Phenomenology
Abstract
What do we mean by “new phenomenology”? First of all, this term indicates a development of Husserl's phenomenology. In this regard, we must recall that Husserl's last work, i.e., The Crisis of European Sciences, is subtitled “Introduction to Phenomenological Philosophy”. Thus, Husserl himself thought that even his last work was nothing but an introduction. Our work has led us to a phenomenological philosophy which, although originating from Husserl's works, is not what Husserl himself hoped to develop. It must be pointed out that The Crisis is not a finished work. Husserl was aware of not having clarified the problem of the relationship between psychology and phenomenology.
