Zusammenfassung
Wenn im Folgenden das Wort ›Ort‹ gebraucht wird, so benutzt Aristoteles das Wort topos. Zu beachten ist, dass er dieses Wort, v. a. im Kontext der Topik, auch in einem anderen Sinn benutzt, der mit Örtern wenig genug zu tun hat, um davon ganz getrennt behandelt zu werden (s. Kap. IV.64). Auch darf die Übersetzungsgleichung ›Ort‹ – topos nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass die Grenzen innerhalb des Wortfelds räumlicher Begriffe im Griechischen anders verlaufen als im Deutschen und vom Deutschen her oft nicht leicht nachvollziehbar sind.
