Abstract
Your introduction, Professor Eccles, reminds me once again of the “thinking” horse of Elberfeldt—the famous horse that has been alluded to in earlier sessions. The horse turned out to do little thinking but was able to respond to barely perceptible signs. And so, I hope, I will be able to do that, although at the end of a full week it may be difficult to react to signs, whether obvious or barely perceptible.
