Abstract
A fourfold typology of leadership style was assessed using the Leadership Opinion Questionnaire. Two hundred and fifty male and 280 female business administration and management students participated in this research. A significant relationship emerged between race and leader ship typology. Gender was not significantly related to leadership typology. The significance of these findings and implications for leadership potential are discussed.
