Notas críticas sobre la ética religiosa del trabajo en el Opus Dei
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to critique the main contents of the religious ethics of work of the Opus Dei. This ethic is based on the concept of work as a divine order and the doctrine of personal sanctification through everyday professional activity. The analysis reveals the existence of an ethics of virtuousness that equates holiness and spiritual perfection with the social success and professional leadership. And it does so by adopting, on behalf of holiness, instrumental action strategies that clash with the practice and the principles of emancipatory Christianity.
