Abstract

Mr. Mou contemporary Chinese philosopher, made by the neo-Confucian interpretation, a moral system of metaphysics, in order to build his own theory of the contemporary Neo-Confucianism, which, while holding Xiangshan, Yangming's school, certainly Lian, cross road drains, Ming Road, Wufeng, mountains of the study, critical Ikawa, Hui An of the study, but in fact, he has a lot of each other on the Neo-criticism, it is reflected in the criticism of speculative history, allowing him to gradually complete their The metaphysics of moral systems. But because of the variety of shades ranging from level, misunderstanding or wrong solution of the original theory of each. This for, is about to set out by Mr. Mou Zhang theory of interpretation and criticism of introspection, on the one hand to identify the characteristics of thinking Mou, on the other hand appropriate to clarify the intention for the theory of Zhang Zai, lest Mou's criticism. Mou interpretation of Zhang Zai, the Dao, of body, mind body three concepts for the architecture, always said that Zhang thought contained the essence of science, and Dao Yi received the body and the mind body proactive ambiguity, but in his character to be The metaphysics of moral thinking. His approach is to establish beyond rationalism pure A world of meaning to the total income Dao Tai, Void, the concept of godhead, there are circles in the human rationalism pure and establish justice in the sexual body positioning in the nature of the concept, in the main initiative to establish pure and evil heart without meaning to the same body will pass on the nature of the body, which rose to the Dao. From the basic question of philosophy of research into the way of methodological reflection, said Mou is to work together on the concept of justice at the heart of the concept of metaphysics and the Road concept, and the formation of a satisfactory metaphysical system, in fact, said the one hand, rationalism pure and Dao fashion, on the other hand is pure and no evil realm of the saints, the image of metaphysics is complete, but the changes in temperament, the next school on the meaning of the work on the culvert has slipped, and Mou Zhang discussed this criticism contains a number of propositions, resulting in Zhang Zai context being misunderstood. Methodology of this paper is to reflect on this, and Zhang Zai Xuesi suitable for clarification and moral principles restored. through interpreting the Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties, modem Chinese philosopher Mou Zong San proposed a metaphysical system of morality, which forms the modern theory of Neo-Confucianism. He praised the doctrines of Xiang Shan, Yang Ming, approved of Lian Xi, Heng Qu, Ming Dao, Wu Feng, and ii Shan, and criticized Yi Chuan, Hui An, as well as some systems of thought other than that of the Cheng-Zhu school. It is in the process of criticism that he gradually perfected his metaphysical system of morality. However, in the very same process, he more or less misunderstood the original meaning of these theories. This paper on the one hand attempts to demonstrate the traits of Mou Zong San's thinking by reflecting on his criticism of Zhang Zai's doctrine , and on the other hand to clarify the original meaning of Zhang Zai's doctrine in order to defend this criticism. Mou Zong San interpreted Zhang Zai's doctrine as the absorption of the ideas of heart and nature into the Dao, so that he accords Zhang Zai's theory with his metaphysics of morality. He constructs the meaning of the Dao as the pure theoretical and the pure good, which embraces the ideas of ultimate harmony, emptiness, and deity. He then establishes man's nature as the pure theoretical and the pure good in conformity with the nature of Heaven and Earth, thus through this, man can communicate to this nature by active cultivation of the heart until the pure good is deprived of any evil, so that man finally reaches the Dao. As a consequence, Mou Zong San basically equated man's self-cultivation of heart with the metaphysical ideas of nature and the Dao. He perfected his metaphysical system which accounts for the Dao as the pure theoretical and the pure good, and the highest level of the sage. Nevertheless, his views also led to a de-emphasis of self-cultivation concerning the changes of one's temperament and practical learning. Based on this position, Mou Zong San's criticism of Zhang Zai's theory caused a misunderstanding of Zhang Zai's original ideas. This paper proposes that we must clarify and return to the original meaning of Zhang Zai's doctrine by reflecting on Mou Zong San's critical methodology
