Abstract

This article discusses research into the way the philosophy of Zhu Xi, an attempt to put forward a framework for discussion of Zhu Xi's philosophy looks so clear. In view of Zhu Xi's philosophy huge range of clues, and they have in the traditional interpretation of Confucianism Confucianism in contemporary history and the formation of numerous controversies, as the face of a clear philosophy of Zhu Xi, Zhu Xi school special on the many different thinking framework to clarify the context of eleven, including: "From Song Confucian inheritance on Zhu Xi Xuesi outline, from Zhu Xi and the enemy on the defense contention about Zhu Xi Xuesi outline, from the classic interpretation of the approach roads on Zhu Xi school thinking of steel to be, from the basic philosophical problems of research into the way to talk about Zhu Xi Xuesi outline, the contemporary study of Zhu Xi's research into the way Analysis of monographs, Zhu Xi, the study of contemporary controversial issues resolved, "and so on, through the research into the way of clarification, the philosophy of Zhu Xi's face to the many inter-related associations, and easy to master. Chu Xi's philosophy system is quite huge. Try to illustrates it is not a very easy job. The introduction to Chu Xi's system is always spreaded on several different approaches. The discussion of the categories Chu Xi always used is one main approach, which is about the discussion on the concept of "Li" "Chi" "Hsin" "Hsing". The discussion about the theoretical relationship between Chu-His and the five North Song Confucian philosophy whether there is a succeeded or reject is another important approach. Except the above two approaches, scholars always pay even more attention to the debate by Chu Xi and his contemporary Confucians. Through this approach Chu Xi was always been misunderstood. The reason why Chu Xi always argues with other Confucians is just because he is doing the faithful interpretation of the traditional Confucian text but other Confucians doing the philosophical creation. In this article the author tries to analysis all these studying approach to tell their achievement and shortage. The author will assert that we should look straightly toward the basic philosophical problems in order to illustrate the real problem and attitude of Chu Xi's philosophy. That is to illustrate his philosophy via the study of the metaphysic and the theory of practice. And pay more attention to the classical interpretation tradition that Chu Xi had spent his whole life's energy. The author will emphasize that the analysis of the metaphysical concepts and the process of the cultivation theory are the main contributions of Chu Xi's creative achievement to Confucianism
