An analysis of the spiritual and enlightenment environment of the east in German literature

Abstract

The historical and social development of world civilization in the late 16th and early 17th centuries is characterized by the development of Western culture, knowledge of the history, literature, art and achievements of the East. Western art, literature, painting, music and other genres developed as unique examples of the Eastern world. The real production process in Western and Eastern cultures includes such works as A. Dante's The Divine Comedy, K. Marlo's The Great Timur, J. Byron's Oriental Melodies, and Hugo's Oriental Poetry.
