Abstract

• by Roland Robertson's interpretation of the theory of global culture, the era of globalization and cultural exchanges between the central issue, namely the universality of culture and cultural specificity the tension between, and through this kinds of tensions analysis of cleaning out the era of globalization and cultural exchanges a cultural mix of the new trend. Via interpreting Roland Robertson's theory of global culture, this paper aims at an analysis of a central issue in cultural intercourse, which is the tension between cultural homogenization and cultural heterogeneity in the era of globalization. By analyzing the tension, the paper can hopefully clarify a new tendency of cultural hybridization in the era of globalization
