Abstract

Since the development of modern science, established by the scientific method and the discussion has been gradually replaced the traditional cultural values, even scientific value to measure everything, but the nature of science itself is not sufficient to completely replace the traditional cultural values, traditions and human values not because of any scientific development and change. Therefore, in the face of the emerging discipline of stimulation, how to effectively rebuilding the spirit of humanism? This article tries to examine the significance of integration from a variety of different ideas and theories, and intends to integrate the value of re-thinking in this new era of humanism. The idea is basically the so-called integration of people from Plato to explore the meaning, that is part of the whole is greater than the sum, is the concept of Socrates Eidos, for people who can not be observed as a fragment, must be a holistic point of view looks at people, only people with the overall point of view, in order to develop human values and meaning. Otherwise, any fragments, fragmented patterns are likely to jeopardize the integrity of human meaning and value. Therefore, how to effectively integrate, and thus the establishment of cultural significance and value of the real world is the focus of this article. Ever since the development of science, the scientific methodology and discussions have gradually replaced the traditional values of culture and even become the measure of everything. But the features of science itself can't completely take the place of the values of traditional humanism, which never change a bit for the development of science. Therefore, confronted with booming science, how do we reconstruction the spirit of humanism effectively? In this paper, we try to review different thoughts and doctrines in the light of the integrative meaning and think over the spirit of humanism in the new age. The idea of integration basically comes from Plato's view about the meaning of Man, that is, the whole is larger the sum of parts. Plato's view is exactly Socrates' idea of Eidos, seeing an individual man as whole rather than fragments. The value and meaning of an individual can never be developed in any other light than the one of wholeness. Otherwise, any fragmented and divisional modes of thinking could damage the integrative meaning and value of human beings. Consequently, the focus of this article is how to integrate effectively and accordingly establish the meaning and value of a humanistic world
