Abstract

This article is the continuation of my previous research concerning the connection between the legacy of the famous French theologian Jean Gerson and the formation of the Germanic humanism and national identity. The present paper is a preliminary account of the new evidence concerning Gerson's influence in the 17th century. It will focus exclusively on the German 1692 edition of Gerson's work Donatus moralizatus venerabilis magistri Johannis de Gerson as well as on sources and bibliographical references it contains.L'article représente la continuation de ma recherche précédente sur le lien entre l'influence du célèbre théologien français Jean Gerson et la formation de l'humanisme et de l’identité nationale germaniques. L'article est un rapport préliminaire sur de nouvelles données au sujet de l'influence gersonienne au 17e siècle et sera centrée sur l'édition allemande de Donatus moralizatus venerabilis magistri Johannis de Gerson de 1692 aussi bien que sur des sources et des références bibliographiques qui y sont mentionnées.Dieser Aufsatz stellt eine Fortsetzung meiner vorangegangenen Forschungsarbeit dar. Sie betraf den Konnex zwischen dem Vermächtnis des berühmten französischen Theologen Jean Gerson und der Herausbildung des deutschen Humanismus sowie einer nationalen Identität. Der vorliegende Aufsatz ist ein vorausgehender Bericht über neue Beweise für den Einfluss Gersons im 17. Jahrhundert.
