Abstract
In this paper, through the "Marx and Engels' historical research version and the publication of an overview of the history of MEGA1 and MEGA2 editing and publishing process to rigorous academic standards of philology and text adhere to the principles of science and innovation to explore, trying to clarify the MEGA The guiding principle, and illustrates the editing and publishing of MEGA2 Marx and Engels on academic research, especially on the historical position of Marx and Engels and intellectual understanding of the context is important
