ELITIST LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY AND PROBLEMS OF INTERTEXTUALITY

Abstract

This article discusses the possibility of studying Russian linguistic picture of the world on the basis of the text containing the description of the the linguocultural situation of certain period. The concept ''Family'' plays a fundamental role in description of the linguocultural situation in the text of the outstanding historian of Russian literature and culture Yu. M. Lotman (1922–1993). This concept presented by various methods including means of intertextuality and is recognized as one of the key concepts in the Russian linguistic picture of the world.
