Abstract

In accordance with the classical tradition, Millán-Puelles insists on the immanence of the acts of knowledge and volition. Knowledge consists in the immaterial possession of a form and is described as "actus actus actum possidentis". Volition is an immaterial tendency towards what is real as such, expressed in the formula "actus actus actum intendentis".
