Abstract

On April 5, 1965, a conference was held in the editorial offices of Voprosy filosofii, participated in by members of the editorial board and prominent biologists. The following biologists took part in the conference: Academicians V. N. Sukachev and A. A. Imshenetskii; Corresponding Academicians N. P. Dubinin, N, D. Ierusalimskii, A. M. Kuzin, and G. V. Nikol'skii; Members of the Academy of Medical Sciences V. M. Zhdanov and P. K. Anokhin; Professors S. I. Alikhanian, N. P. Naumov, V. V. Sakharov, and V. N. Stoletov; and research specialist in biology V. F. Mirek. The following members of the editorial board participated: Academician M. B. Mitin, Editor-in-Chief, Corresponding Academician B. M. Kedrov, Doctor of Biology S. R. Mikulinskii, and research specialist in philosophy I. V. Blauberg. Assistants to the editorial staff were also present.
