Abstract

The short historical segment of time that has passed since the first edition of this book has been marked by events of world-historical significance. The 25th Congress of the CPSU, congresses of a number of fraternal communist parties, and in June 1976 the Conference of Communist and Workers' Parties of Europe, all occurred. At these forums of communists along with any other important socio-political and theoretical problems a great deal of attention was devoted to the problems of the contemporary ideological struggle between socialism and capitalism, in particular to the struggle against the latest currents of anticommunism.
