Abstract

"Neoclassical" is a late 20th century Chinese aesthetics aesthetic concept description. The start-up period, China experienced the aesthetic, historic rehabilitation and transformation of three stages. Philosophy, aesthetics, and westernization of Marxist aesthetics aesthetics aesthetics of this period, China's most prominent academic features. From the aesthetic concepts and methods of academic research at two levels conscientiously sum up the aesthetic of the late 20th century Chinese historical experience and theoretical results is to accomplish something new century, China's academic aesthetic premise. Chinese Aesthetics in the late 20th century can be depicted by the concept of neo-classicalism. The Aesthetics in this period is consisted of three historical stages: that of establishment, restoration and transformation, hence achieves three identities as that of Marxism, philosophy and Western . For the reasons above, this paper holds that reviewing aesthetics in the period from both aesthetic and methodological perspectives is the precondition for any progress of Chinese Aesthetics in new century
