Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to analyze the market situation of socially responsible investment in Korea. The author investigates the purpose and process of investment decision-making of all the public offering funds and pension funds available in Korea as of 31 December 2015 and figures out the size and distribution by investment strategy. And I will try to identify what are the major obstacles to promotion of SRI in Korea and conclude with some proposals for the market, policy-makers, and legislators.
