From an analysis of the relationship between knowledge and the concept of body, this paper examines the path that began with the philosopher who scored modernity,René Descartes. Given the perspective of reflecting on the considerable changes thathave occurred in the design of this philosopher from what he understood by the body, seek the reality of the artificial intelligence methods to explain the new perspectiveof man. Scientific advances and technological tools to produce increasingly expandthe human senses, in addition to artificial intelligence may also yield to man a newconception of mind and consciousness
