Abstract

This article begins with the Aristotelic distinction of four different fundamental forms of action: “energeia – kinesis” and “praxis – poiesis” and the contributions of Polo in his works on Theory of Knowledge and on Ethics, especially, on his concepts of immanent operation and transitive movement, in order to establish a typology with four fundamental forms of dynamism: process , operation , action , and production
