Abstract

The study of the contemporary world can not be understood without an explanation of the historical and political crisis in the State-nation; a crisis that has changed the maps of the West and has enabled the protagonist of politicians whose main claim is the identity. This complex and contradictory effects of globalization requires us to review the configuration of the state and, ultimately, the entire political community.
