An Inquiry into Paul Ricoeur's La métaphore vive: A First Step
Abstract
This article aims to explore the contemporary French philosopher of the late Paul. Lu Siegel "living metaphor." This book basically follows that of eight studies of Lu Siegel order, and to Lu Hegel's focus on primary care, that metaphor, two allegations related with the true poetic language and ontology management problem, trying to get the book the essence. This paper argues that Heidegger Lu back to the first sub-km time while involved in Aristotle, "Rhetoric" and "creation science" concept of metaphor, that the richness of the original metaphor, then start with his own associated with Aristotle's "Metaphysics" while the "creation science" in the language of poetry has been interpreted as the basic concept of stance, compared to the theoretical view of Aristotle's metaphor Pianku after development, and were excluded from further review into a metaphor for their own theories. By Lu Siegel said, this is a semiotics of ancient rhetoric and semantics and then through the hermeneutics of the research process, and then used as a term Heidegger Lu "roundabout" , this is a roundabout the research process. Also, the book repeatedly Zhengyin and interpretation of sub-km Aristotle in the "creation science" regardless and metaphors related to the above terms, Lu Siegel "living metaphor" should be sub-km Aristotle describes is a modern interpretation of metaphor theory. The purpose of this paper is to investigate La métaphore vive by Paul Ricoeur. It tries to grasp the motif of the work by concentrating on the main concern of Ricoeur, which includes the ontology and truth in metaphor, second-level denotation of discourse and poetic discourse. It points out that Ricoeur first returned to the notion of metaphor in Aristotle's Rhetoric and Poetics to unpack its original and abundant meaning. By the insight of poetic language he got from his comparison between Aristotle's Poetics and Metaphysics, Ricoeur then examined the alienation of the notion of metaphor after Aristotle and finally illustrated his theory of metaphor. According to Ricoeur, the process in his book began with classical rhetoric, passed through semiotics and semantics, and finally reached hermeneutics. It also suggests that Ricoeur's work is a contemporary interpretation of Aristotle's idea of metaphor
