Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta a gênese da formação da obra Fausto de Goethe, sua história e seu desenvolvimento na literatura alemã. Na filosofia o Fausto terá um importante papel na compreensão de diversos temas que envolvem a ideia e a noção de Deus até a recepção do diabo na história do ocidente. Dentro desta perspectiva analisamos também os rastros do Fausto de Goethe na obra do filósofo dinamarquês Kierkegaard e na obra do escritor alemão Thomas Mann.This paper presents the genesis of the formation of the work of Goethe's Faust, its history and its development in German literature. In philosophy Faust will play an important role in understanding many issues involving the idea and concept of God until the reception of the devil in Western history.
