Concept «european identity» in political discourse of the EU

Abstract

The features of political discourse of the EU as supranational on the nature are examined. The European identity is investigated as one of key concepts of this discourse. The basic contexts of application of the concept “European identity” – political-cultural, politicalgeographical, political-functional – are distinguished and analysed.
