Abstract

Most representative of the second generation of Frankfurt School scholars: Habermas, critical theory not only strive to go beyond the classical, further reconstruction work, in its view, reflect Marx's "historical materialism", Weber's "rationalization" concept-cum-other theory, the proposed "communication theory." Habermas expectations by "communicative rationality" of the practice of equality through open communication channels, including the establishment of a normative and critical concepts of rationalization and consensus, and thus become a positive force for the benefit of human life.
