Abstract
This study aims to explore the dynamics of the sustainable governanceGovernance process to address the development gap in South Sulawesi. This study also highlights the regional governanceGovernance discourse's conceptual ambiguity and reinterpreting the concept of “from governanceGovernance to governanceGovernance”. This research uses a study analysis from Lange et al. (2013) on sustainable governanceGovernance that focuses on the political process, institutional structure, and policyPolicy content in the government of South Sulawesi as an industrial area in Eastern Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative-exploratory research method with a case study approach, using interactive analysis techniques. The results of this study find that sustainable governanceGovernance in the South Sulawesi Regional Government applies a multidimensional approach that considers the political process, government structure, and policyPolicy content which adequately captures the complexity of the phenomenon of government (local government in East Indonesia). This clarification explains the existence of a good conceptual model of sustainable governanceGovernance by increasing the interaction and cooperation generated by multi-actor within the local political elite complex, industry (private), and civil society, as well as by the existence of a structural interaction process through institutions called the collaboration governanceGovernance.
