Paid content on the websites of the Polish daily press

Abstract

The article concerns paid content on the websites of the Polish daily press. It presents a short genesis of this phenomenon on the domestic media market and the results of the analysis of paid internet editions of national and regional newspapers. The analysis covered the extent of the occurrence of payment systems for access to online publications in the newspaper segment, payment models and rules, as well as the types of content offered to readers for a fee.
