Rhetorical Procedures in Thematic Varieties of Print Journalism

Abstract

Media rhetoric consists of the inventive and eloquent dimensions of text. They are not only rhetorical genres but also specific rhetorical strategies. The article analyses various examples taken from different areas of journalism including sport, travel, religion, culture, nature, popular science, advice, politics, cookery, investigative and economic journalism.
