Abstract

Cahill (Sanskrit and Asian studies, Loyola U.) presents a rich collection of scholarly sources on Indian poetics and aesthetics (the Alamkarasastra) published in ancient India. References to primary sources from several languages range from about the fifth to the 19th centuries, with secondary sources in some two dozen languages, beginning in the mid-19th century and continuing through the present.
