Abstract

After reviewing some feminist theological hermeneutics, the author examines Thomas Aquinas' principle of the common good (i.e. a fundamental ethical proposition in the Christian tradition), and applies it to two issues in health care in the United States: women's health in general, and black women and breast cancer in particular.
