Abstract

Invited lecture by the Philosophy Department at the Northwestern University. A sustained discussion following in her work on 'synthetic life', Professor Golding discusses the relation of Mandelbrot's 'fractal geometry' aligned with Laura Marks new work, Enfoldment and Infinity: An Islamic Geneaology of the New.
