Abstract

Magdalena Jaworska-Wołoszyn On the Pantheon of Plethon’s LawsOf all the surviving fragments of Plethon’s Laws there emerges a holistic vision – that of a truly original philosophy. The last of Plethon’s works consists of many issues analyzed from different perspectives. The main purpose of this article is the presentation of Plethon’s hierarchy of gods. In the light of Plethon’s philosophy, the pantheon itself is the foundation of an original and controversial metaphysics. Indeed, knowing the divine order determines the cognition of the structural elements of the whole reality. Keywords: the pantheon of Plethon’s Laws, metaphysical nature of gods
