Abstract

Retrace vingt-cinq siècles de tentatives, de Platon à Lacan, pour penser le pur amour. Les débats théologiques entre Mme Guyon, Fénelon et Bossuet au XVIIe siècle aboutirent à sa condamnation par les Eglises, mais le pur amour ne cessa pas pour autant d'inspirer la pensée romanesque, la philosophie et la psychanalyse. L'auteur montre ainsi que le pur amour s'affirme comme un impensable.
