Some Reflections upon Islamophobia as the ‘Totally Other’

Abstract

In this essay I would like to look at the question of Islamophobia bylooking at various pro and con positions in relation to Islam and the“fear” which some ascribe to it, which, in return, seems to back uptheir antagonistic or hostile views and actions on Muslims as acommunity and Islam as a religion
