Abstract

Where does scientific jargon come from? How do publishers and authors relate to each other in the writing process? Pascal Rouleau, drawing on his own experience, shows that a distinction has to be made between three kinds of writing – creative writing, jargon and technical language – and that publishers should not attempt to « popularise » at any cost
